After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Spanish from Oklahoma State University, Dr. Gutierrez earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Phoenix, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Maricopa Medical Center, and went on to complete a Fellowship at Las Vegas Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
As an educator of medical students, residents, and fellows, Dr. Gutierrez has conducted surgical workshops and held proctorships at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, the University of California in Los Angeles, and many other institutions and training facilities. As an internationally recognized lecturer, she has been an annual presenter at the Annual Global Congress of Minimally Invasive Gynecology since 2010 and has also presented at the Clark County Medical Society Robotics Symposium, the American College of Surgeons Chile Chapter, and the International Urogynecological Association Annual Meeting.
Dr. Gutierrez has published research in prestigious medical journals, including Surgical Technology International. Dr. Gutierrez has also contributed to many scientific videos, and she has written articles and given interviews concerning gynecologic health and robotic surgery for Las Vegas Women’s Magazine, Morning Blend Las Vegas live television, and other publications and radio productions.
Dr. Gutierrez is passionate about promoting women’s healthcare and serving the women of Los Angeles.
